"I painted this image in honor of the Maui Symphony Orchestra and Festival in order to present it at the art auction fundraiser for the Symphony. The Mayor's Ball, held annually in November, is a fun event, and raises much-needed funds for the Symphony. In 2001, the Ball was very successful, and I'm glad to have been able to play a small part in its success."
